6 Troubleshooting

Possible cause
Dirty air filter
No fuel in engine
STOP/Run lever in STOP position Move the lever to RUN position
Engine speed is too slow
Low oil level
Dirty air cleaner
Out of fuel
Water in fuel
STOP/RUN lever incorrectly set
Out of fuel
Low oil level
Dirty air filter
STOP/RUN lever incorrectly set
Solution
Replace the air filter
Fill fuel tank or turn on fuel supply
Adjust STOP/RUN to suit load
Fill oil to correct level
Clean or replace the air cleaner
Fill the fuel tank
Drain fuel tank, fill with new fresh fuel
Set STOP/RUN lever to correct position
Fill the fuel tank
Fill up oil to the correct level
Replace the air filter
Move the STOP/RUN lever until engine
runs correctly
