5.9 Fuel Injection Pump
5.9.1 To disassemble the fuel injection
pump.
1. Clean the areas adjacent to the fuel injection pump
(A) and fuel injector (B).
2. Close the fuel valve (C).
3. Remove the high-pressure fuel injection line (D).
4. Remove the fuel supply line (E).
5. Remove the 3 nuts (F).
6. Remove the inspection cover.
7. Remove the fuel injection pump (A).
8. Remove the shims (G).

tion pump.
Clean the parts. Replace parts if they are damaged.
5.9.3 To assemble the fuel injection pump.
Assemble the fuel injection pump in the opposite se-
quence.
