The machine is equipped with self-disconnecting
special carbon brushes. If they are worn, power is
interrupted automatically and the machine comes
to a standstill.
• Clean the tabletop insert [1-9] regularly and
remove wood chips, dust deposits and workpiece
offcuts from the extraction channel on the chip
defl ector (see Fig. 6).
9.1
Replacing table insert
Never work with a worn table insert [1-9] but
replace it with a new one. To do this, release the
fi ve screws used to fasten the table insert on the
saw table.
A new table insert is supplied without a saw slot.
You will therefore fi rst have to saw a slot follow-
ing installation.
9.2
Adjusting the saw unit
The swivelling range of the saw unit can be read-
justed using the screw [6-2]. This may be neces-
sary if the diameter of the saw blade alters during
sharpening or if a new saw blade is fi tted.
– Set the sliding fence [6-4] to 0°.
– Release the lock nut [6-1].
– Swivel the saw unit downwards until it reaches
the fence.
– Adjust the saw unit by turning the screw [6-2]
as shown in illustration 7 (turn to the left - saw
unit is lowered; turn to the right - saw unit is
raised).
The saw unit must not be set so deep that
it can saw into the saw table.
– Tighten the lock nut again.
