Procedure
To assemble the PROFIBUS cable PB FC Standard Cable GP with data connector IE FC
RJ45 plug 4x2, follow these steps:
1. Strip about 6 cm off the cable using the stripping tool:
– Place the cable in the stripping tool.
– For 2-wire cables press the lever of the stripping tool forward up to the next to the last
– To cut off the sheath, turn the stripping tool.
– Keeping the stripping tool closed, pull the jacket and remnants of the shield off the end
2. Strip the wires with the stripping pliers:
– To prevent a short circuit, about 5 mm of the wire insulation must be kept intact.
– Make sure that the wire ends are not bent. If necessary, cut off the ends with a

3. Open the connector.
