5.4.1
SEALING TEMPERATURE REGULATION.
The sealing temperature is regulated via the digital thermostat (1) (PROFI-1, PROFI-2 and PROFI-3) or by the knob (7) (mod. LST) and usually ranges
between 140 and 180°C. In order to know exactly which temperature to set, consult the supplier and/or producer of the film reels and trays, as
various factors may influence this parameter (materials, thickness of the film). To give an example, using trays with 85 micron thick film in PP, the
temperature should be set to approximately 170°C. In all cases the seal must be uniform; the detachment of film is usually due to a sealing temperature
which is too low, whereas rips and marks on the film surface are almost always due to a sealing temperature which is too high, unless of course
these sealing defects are caused by incorrect configuration (compatibility) of the materials from which the trays and film are made.

USING THE APPLIANCE
1
Connect the machine to a power supply which corresponds to the characteristics indicated in paragraph "POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE".
2
Temperature Regulation:
Mod. LST: regulate the knob (7) to a STANDARD value of 170°.
WARNING! This value is to be considered purely indicative and must be adjusted according to the materials being handled.
Mod. PROFI 1 / PROFI 2 / PROFI 3: the thermo-sealing machines are set to a value of 160°-180° by the
manufacturer (PROFI1, PROFI2 and PROFI3); to adjust the temperature value, which depends on the type
of film and tray materials being used, press key
displayed and indicator (X) start flashing. Increase or decrease the value by pressing cursor keys
or
. Confirm by pressing the
memory. To determine the correct sealing temperature, consult the technical tables of the materials being used.
The machine reaches operating temperature after approximately 5 minutes. In model LST, when the correct temperature is reached, the light (6) switches off.
3
Insert the reel placing it on the rollers (A) in the direction indicated in (Fig. 1) taking care to ensure that the sealing side of the film is
facing onto the tray.
4
Insert the product-filled tray into the tray holder and pull the film over it until it is completely covered as indicated in (Fig. 2).
WARNING! Burning hazard: when stretching the film over the container take care not to touch the sealing head (Fig. 3).
5
Press the machine top firmly onto the tray (Fig. 4) for a time of between 1 and 4 seconds depending on the temperature of the environment, the
materials being used and the required degree of sealing.
6
Remove the sealed container.
