7. If any fan keys are lost during service, replacements are
easily made by using 3/16 square x 1 in. bar stock.
Drive Components
To access the blower motor, fan drive components, and its
electrical control.
• Remove rear panel by unlatching (CCW) the lock and pull-
ing the panel out.
• Unlatch the top panel from within the heater and pull the top
panel toward the rear to unlock the tabs.
• Remove the top panel.
CI230 Fan Housing and Motor Assembly
1. Disconnect the motor wiring from the control board.
2. Remove all screws securing the fan housing to the heat
exchanger and the housing mounting bars.

Fan Wheel
1. Remove all screws securing the motor mount plate.
7 screws
2. Remove the motor/fan wheel assembly from the fan
housing.
3. Loosen the two 3/16 Allen key securing the fan wheel
to the motor shaft.
4. Remove the fan wheel.
Motor
1. Follow the fan wheel removal procedure.
2. Remove the four hex head bolt securing the motor to
the motor bracket.
