Determine yourmounting location by holding the Autocloser unitagainst thegarage door
opener power headassembly withthe infiared sensor&cing the reflector. While the Au
tocloser is insetupmode, it willemita continuous audible alarm whenthe infrared sensor
is whhmrangeand linedup withthe reflector. Adjust theunituntU it emitsthe continuous
audiblealarm.Markthe position of the unitby outlinmgit witha pencil(Fig. 3-4).

4. Apply Velcro ® to theAutocloser unitand the garage dooropener power head
assembly (Fig. 4-1). TIP: Apply twoparallel strips at thefront and back ofthe out
line andthe unit The industrial strength, temperature resistant adhesive onthe Velcro ®
strap is pressureactivated. Use yourfingerto applypressure and removeair bubbles. The
adhesive is80%cured m 1hourand100% cur^ in24houis. TheAutocloser unitcanbe
mounted before the adhesive is cured, but care should be exercised not to apply any pres
sure on the unit that will disturb the adhesive. Attach the Autocbser to the Velcro ®
strapping on the garagedooropener.As in step 3, verifythat the reflector and systemare
aligned.
