4.8 Checking the hydraulic oil
level

Check the oil level in the inspection glass on

the hydraulic oil tank.
Maximum level middle of inspection glass.

At least 1/3 of inspection glass.
l
Caution
!
Hydraulic oil is not consumed like engine oil. If
during the daily oil check the oil level is found
to have dropped, check all lines, hoses and
components for leakages.
Screw the filler cap off.
l
Fill in hydraulic oil to the middle of the inspec-
l
tion glass.
Screw the filler cap back on. For quality and
l
quantity of oil refer to the table of fuels and lu-
bricants.

ice indicator

Accelerate the engine for a short moment to
l
full speed. If the rubber bellows contracts and
covers the green section during this process,
the air filter system needs to be serviced. Un-
der very dusty conditions check the rubber bel-
lows several times per day.
