Measuring blood pressure

➡ Press the general START button to start
measuring blood pressure in both arms
at the same time.
From now on the patient should keep his/her arms completely still and
not speak.
➡ To measure blood pressure in the right
or left arm only, press the appropriate
individual start button.
All the display elements of the
LCD display will light up briefly
to check that they are working
properly (see figure 4).
The pumps start to inflate the cuff to the required pressure.
Increasing cuff pressure is displayed.
When the required pressure has been reached, the pumps switch off and air
is slowly released from the cuffs.
