RS232/485 Port
The RS232/485 Port (Figure 2-8) is used to communicate with the COM port of the
PC during setup and programming. The Port is used to communicate with the
controller using RS–232, RS–422, RS–485 or Current Loop (20 mA) operation.
The connection method determines the communication mode, Figures 2-6 and
2-7. The RS232/485 Port connector is a 15 pin D sub type.
Use Baldor RS232 cable, CBL034–501 (9.8 ft, 3m); Gender Changer,
OPT033–501.
Use a null modem cable to connect the panel to a PC for programming, Figure
2-6. The COM port connector is a DB 9 pin female.
