To take sharp pictures, the camera must be held steady.
Since camera shake is the major cause of blurred
pictures, it is recommended to practice holding the
camera steady until you get familiar with it. Place the
camera in the palm of your left hand, hold the focusing
rrng of the lens so that you can turn it with your fingers,
hold the grip with your right hand and put your forefinger
lightly on the Shutter Release. Stick the left elbow to
the body, press the camera lightly against your face
and look through the viewfinder. Always depress the
Shutter Release gently. You may hold the
camera not only in the horizontal position,
but also in the vertical position depending
on the sublect. In any case, study and
practice the posture best surted to you.
It is also good to support your body or
camera on a building, tree, and so on.
