User's Guide
Windows 7/ Windows Vista/ Windows XP:
Start > All Programs or Programs > EPSON > EPSON Scan > EPSON Scan Settings.
Mac OS X:
Select Applications > Epson Software > EPSON Scan Settings.

Click the Maintenance button.
E
Click the Calibration button on the Maintenance window.
Calibration starts. Wait about one minute.
The Calibration sheet is ejected automatically when Calibration is complete.
Note:
❏ If performing Calibration does not improve the image quality, contact your Epson dealer.
❏ The Calibration sheet can be used more than once.
❏ The Cleaning sheet (dry), Cleaning sheet (wet), and Calibration sheet are available as a Maintenance Sheet (Model
number B12B818291) from your nearest Epson store.
❏ Calibration does not start if the product's batteries are running low.
Energy Saving
The product turns off automatically if no operations are performed for the selected period. You can adjust the time
before power management is applied. Any increase will affect the product's energy efficiency. Consider the
environment before making any changes.
Note:
Even though this function works when using a USB connection or a wireless connection, it can only be set over a USB
connection.
Follow the steps below to adjust the time.

Start Epson Scan Settings.
Windows 8.1/ Windows 8:
Start screen > Apps > EPSON > EPSON Scan Settings
Windows 7/ Windows Vista/ Windows XP:
Start > All Programs or Programs > EPSON > EPSON Scan > EPSON Scan Settings.
Mac OS X:
Select Applications > Epson Software > EPSON Scan Settings.

Click Energy Saving.
