User's Guide
Basic Scanning
This product allows you to start scanning from the product by pressing the button on the product, or from the
scanning software on your computer.
Note:
❏ If the Connection setting in Epson Scan Settings is not correct, you cannot start scanning.

❏ If you are using the product with a direct Wi-Fi connection, your computer's Internet access could be disabled. In this
situation, you can only send scanned data on your computer.
Scanning from the Button
You can start scanning by pressing the ] Start button on the product using Document Capture Pro, Document
Capture, or Epson Scan.
Note:
❏ Document Capture Pro and Document Capture do not support scanning from the button over a wireless connection.
❏ When using a wireless connection, launch Epson Scan on your computer before scanning.

Load the document.

Press the ] Start button.
The scanning starts and the scanned image is saved or transferred.
When using Document Capture Pro or Document Capture, the product starts the job that was assigned in the Job
Settings window.
