*General recommendations and biologic hazard

Before servicing any used equipment, carry out some washing operations with Puli Jet, or
other product appropriate for this purpose. Disconnect electric supply and padlock mains
switch if provided. Before servicing the equipment wear disposable gloves, goggles,
mask and disposable overall. Aspirated fl uid is infected and contaminated.
The draining pump (and the centrifugal separator) put the aspirated liquid under pressure
and push it into the Hydrocyclone (detail E page 55). Should the pipe or the equipment
under pressure break the biologic hazard increases.

Maintenance

• Biological danger, danger of infections from epidemic diseases.
• Compulsory direction of fl ow and rotation sense.
After every surgical and particularly long operations, rinse the system thoroughly by aspi-
rating clean water. At the end of every working day, cleanse and sanitise the equipment
by aspirating, through Pulse Cleaner, a Puli-Jet and hot water (50°) solution, according
to the instructions, and replace dirty fi lters.
Dirty fi lters must be removed with great care in order not to contaminate, so that solid
particles retained in the fi lter do not return inside. The content of the fi lters must be pre-
served and disposed of complyng with regulations in force.
In the morning, before starting work, make sure that the fi lter contains disinfecting anti-
foam, make sure also that liquid anti-foaming is available in the technical room (only for
separator-tanks).
The use of products not recommended by the manufacturer may jeopardise the correct
operation of the equipment and cause damage.
Important Recommendations

help.
• Technical requirements, product improvements, legislative and operational problems,
diffi culty in fi nding fi nished or semi-manufactured products may lead the manufacturer
to introduce changes to the production without previous notice.
