Night Mode (heating)
To activate Night Mode (heating), first set the operational mode to heating and set the desired room temperature. Now press the T4 button.
Ideally night mode is selected just as you go to bed. The heating setpoint is maintained for one hour. During the next two hours the heating
setpoint is gradually lowered while the fan is run low speed. At this point the setpoint no longer changes.
NOTE: Night mode is not available in dehumidification and ventilation mode. When in night mode pressing the T3 button again will return
the unit to the previous mode and temperature setpoint.

Setting the time
The unit provides the user with two operating programs that can be set to start and stop at programmed times. For example, you might want
the unit to start shortly before returning home. To use these programs the user must first set the time on the remote control, then set the time(s)
for the program(s) to start.
To set the time:
Press the T6 button (Time and Program Setting), as many times as necessary to display the hour H at position D10.
Press the T7 button to increase or decrease the value until it matches the current hour.
Press the T6 button again to display the minutes M at position D10.
Press the T7 button to increase or decrease the displayed value until it matches the current time in minutes

Setting the operating programs

To set the times for starting and stopping the unit, proceed as follows:
Press the T6 button (Time and Program Setting) until the number 1 is displayed. This is the start time for the 1
Press the T7 button to increase or decrease the time when you want program 1 to start. Each time you press this button the time will
increase or decrease by 30 minutes.
Press the T6 button again to display the number 1. This allows the user to set the stop time for the 1
Press the T7 button to increase or decrease the time you want program 1 to stop.
Program 1 is now set. To set program 2 press the T6 button until the number 2 is displayed, then repeat the process described above.
NOTE:
To return to the normal operating mode press the T6 button as many times as necessary to clear the numbers from the display.

Starting and stopping the operating programs

After setting the operating programs, they can be enabled or disabled as desired. Either or both programs can be used. Each time you
press the T11 button (Program activation), the operation changes as follows:
Use only Program 1
Use only Program 2
Use both Programs 1 and 2.
Do not use either program.
3.3.17

Resetting all remote-control functions

To reset all the remote control settings, press the T10 button. This will clear all timers and restore all default settings. In
addition, by pressing the T10 button all the symbols indicated in figure 29 will appear on the display. This allows the user to
check the integrity of the display itself.
3.3.18

Operating the unit if the remote control is not available

If the remote control is lost or disabled the unit can be operated in automatic mode by pressing the micro switch positioned underneath
the hole located on the console using a small object, such as the end of a paperclip. To switch the unit off, press the microswitch again.
When the remote control is available again just send any command from the remote to use it.
3.4

Energy Saving Advice

To ensure the unit operates at peak efficiency consider the following recommendations:
Keep the filters clean (see chapter on maintenance and cleaning).
Keep doors and windows closed.
Keep sunlight out of the room by using curtains or lowering the shades.
Do not obstruct the flow of air from either the inlet or outlet of the unit. Obstructing airflow results in reduced performance and will
eventually damage the unit.
