    5. Circulation Heart rate and Pulse The SimNewB manikin has a heartbeat and palpatable umbilical and right brachial pulses. The palpatable pulses can be switched on or off by the instructor. The heartbeat can be listened to using a stethoscope at the left side of the chest. The heart rate can be varied between 0 and 300 bpm.
