Functions/Operation via HART®
A HART® communicator or a PC software such as SIMATIC PDM must be used for
operation via HART®. See the appropriate operating manuals or the online help for
operation of these tools. The full scope of functions of the SITRANS P, MS series
transmitter is available through the HART® communication.

4.2 Measuring Operation
In measuring operation, measured values are output on the digital indicator and pro-
vided through the HART® interface. The display on the digital indicator is determined
by the parameterization. This includes:
• Display type
• Physical pressure unit
• Keyboard disable and write protection
