A load of at least 230 ohms must be available in the signal circuit for error-free com-
munication (see Figure 22, p. 107). A load is already installed in the device for using
power disconnectors for Smart transmitters, e.g. Siemens 7NG4021 (Figure 6, p.
80).

Installing Digital Indicator

1. Unscrew the housing cover from the electronic compartment.
2. Plug in the connection cable of the digital indicator. The digital indicator can be
screwed in four different positions (
the transmitter.
3. Screw in the housing cover with sight glass.
WARNING
Devices with the protection type "flameproof enclosure" may only be opened when
the power is off.
