You should check the start of scale of the device now and again.
In the event of a fault you should ascertain:
• Whether the internal self-test has detected an error e.g. sensor break.
Displays:
- digital indicator: display "ERROR"
- HART®: factory setting: fault current 3.6 or 22.8 mA depending on the
• parameterization
• Serious hardware error, the processor no longer operates.
Displays:
- digital indicator: no defined display
- HART®: failure current <3.6 mA
The transmitter must be replaced for both types of fault.
