CHILD HARNESS PREPARATION
This booster seat is only approved for use with Safe-n-Sound Protecta PLUS™ child harness
Series 220/2013 and Series BS0220-020133.
INSTALLING SAFE-N-SOUND PROTECTA PLUS™CHILD
HARNESS WITHOUT EXTENSION STRAP INTO VEHICLE
Hook the Child Harness attachment clip (1) onto booster seat VERSATETHER™Catch (2A).
Then hook booster seat attachment clip (2B) onto vehicle anchor fitting (3). Ensure that none of
the straps are twisted or passing over any sharp edges.

INSTALLING SAFE-N-SOUND PROTECTA PLUS™ HARNESS
WITH EXTENSION STRAP INTO VEHICLE
An adjustable extension strap is supplied with the Child Harness. Hook the Safe-n-Sound
Protecta PLUS™ Harness clip first onto the extension strap catch, then hook the extension
strap clip onto the VERSATETHER™ Catch on the Booster Seat top tether strap as shown
below. Ensure that none of the straps are twisted or catching on sharp edges. Adjust the
Booster Seat top tether strap (refer to page 21) first then remove excess slack from the
extension strap by pulling the adjuster strap as illustrated below.

rotate the adjuster and pull the main strap.
Always attach the hook and remove the slack.
