Automatic dispensing/AutoDos

Before you can use AutoDos, you must
insert a PowerDisk containing powder
detergent into the PowerDisk
compartment.
One PowerDisk contains enough
detergent for approx. 20 cycles,
depending on the chosen programme.
PowerDisks are available to order
directly from Miele, from the Miele
webshop, or from your Miele retailer.

Risk of chemical burns from
residual detergent.
Detergents have a caustic effect.
This can cause health problems and
damage to surfaces. If the AutoDos
is used incorrectly or leaks, residual
detergent may drip onto the floor
area in front of the dishwasher.
Always remove residual detergent
from in front of the dishwasher
immediately.

Activating AutoDos

 Switch the dishwasher on using the
 sensor control.
 Before you first use AutoDos, remove
the transport lock from the PowerDisk
compartment and dispose of it
appropriately.
 Insert a PowerDisk (see the
"Automatic dispensing/AutoDos"
chapter, "Inserting a PowerDisk"
section).
The  AutoDos function will be
activated automatically.
The message AutoDos activated
appear in the display.
This setting applies to all programmes
and you can change it at any time using
the  AutoDos sensor control.
If no programme is started for 48
hours, the PowerDisk will
automatically be rotated so that the
detergent does not clump together. If
this happens, the message
will be shown in the display
refreshing
when the dishwasher is switched on.
