Call diversion – in the office
In a home office or small office with
several BeoCom 3 phones, you can of
course also use the settings as described in
the example for the home.
The phone's two lines can be dedicated to
different employees or set so that it is
possible to hear who the call is for. You can
also transfer answered calls between the
phones.
Call diversion further supports these
functions, and this enables you to provide
a better service to the caller. In the menu
'Call diversion', you can set call diversion
to...
– automatically divert a call to a specified
number, e.g. when you go to a meeting or if
a manager or employee is out of the office
or
– manually divert a call, so that – when a call
comes through – you can decide whether
you want to answer the call or divert it to a
preset number.

Diverting a call manually to another
BeoCom 3 phone
If you have chosen to divert calls
automatically, you do not have to do
anything when a call comes through.
However, if you have chosen to divert calls
manually, you should follow the procedure
below.

'Divert call?'...
OK Press OK to divert
Before you press OK to divert the call, you can
press Extra to see which number you have set
the Manual Call diversion to.
Transferring calls
Calls can be transferred from one
BeoCom 3 to another Beocom 3 or to
another ISDN phone on the same
connection.

> Press Move to transfer the call and place the
handset in the cup.
> On the second BeoCom 3 phone – lift the
handset to receive the transferred call.
