Connecting two external calls
If you have an active call and another call
on hold, you can connect the two external
calls. This will end both of your calls, whilst
the two external callers will continue their
conversation.

Connect both
lines and end
You have calls on both lines 1 and 2...

Turn the wheel to select
'Connect calls'
OK
Press OK to connect the two
external calls
Replace the handset in the cup
to end the call
The person who makes the call will pay for the
call time. This means that the bill will be based
on the principle 'you pay for the calls that you
make'.
If your BeoCom 3 is connected to a
switchboard, it may be necessary to change
the setup menu in the phone in order to
connect calls, see Call transfer page 29.
NOTE! 'Connecting two external calls' and
'Three party conference calls' are linked to
the two ISDN services Connect external parties
and 3 part Service.
With some exchanges, BeoCom 3 can provide
these services without a special subscription
by using both B channels. Contact your phone
company for more information on the services
available.
Three-party conference calls
If you have an active call and another call
on hold, you can set up a conference with
both calls simultaneously, so that there are
three people on the line.

Turn the wheel to select
'Conference'
OK
Press OK to set up a
conference
Replace the handset in the cup
to end the conference
You can also set up a conference by pressing
the keys Line 1 and Line 2 simultaneously.
