The indicator lights
The indicator lights above the keys Line 1 and
Line 2 are the phone's news and status
indicators. During a call, the indicator light
lights up above the line that is in use, and
flashes when a call is on hold.
When the phone is not in use, the indicator
lights will flash when...
– the phone rings
– unanswered Caller IDs are registered
– there are new Voice Mail messages
– the phone is diverting all calls
– a call is registered as a Call Back call
– the ringer signal is disconnected

The Extra key

In many situations, you will have access to
additional functions. This is indicated by a
guide tab in the display just above the Extra
key.
For example, there are extra functions in the
Phonebook, in Caller ID and Redial, and when
you are managing two calls at the same time.

Move
When you are entering a name in the
Phonebook for example, the Extra key gives
you direct access to:
> store in the Phonebook.
> enter international characters while you are
typing a name – see page 14.
> edit the number or 'Exit without storing'.
