Your phone has advanced setting
options, which you might not use
or will rarely need.
These settings can be found in the
menu 'Advanced' and include:
– transferring calls... when a call
is transferred to another phone
on the same ISDN connection,
the call is allocated an
identification number.
– setting the display contrast.
– use with a switchboard...
insert prefix for public line.
– Call transfer... set for 'Normal'
or use under 'Switchboard'
– read version number.
– Delete all... which deletes all
names and numbers in the
Phonebook, Caller ID and Redial
and clears all settings.
Advanced settings

Identifying calls prior to transfer

When diverting a call, the call is
automatically allocated an identification
number. Your BeoCom 3 is pre-set with the
identification number 1. It may be
necessary to alter the number if you have
other ISDN phones in addition to
BeoCom 3 that do not use identification
number 1.

Enter an identification number
– up to 2 digits
OK
Press OK to store the setting

Set the display contrast

If the display text is difficult to read,
perhaps because of direct sunlight, you can
alter the display contrast. You can choose
between 5 steps.
