You can input settings for line 1
and line 2 independently of each
other:
– set up two phone numbers for
each line (MSN numbers). The
first Multiple Subscriber number
you link to a line is the number
that is transferred as Caller ID to
the person you are calling. The
second Multiple Subscriber
number is solely used for
incoming calls, e.g. for use by
the Duét service. The number is
a 'listening number' and does
not support other services.
– select Anonymous, so that your
number is not shown when you
make a call. If you only want to
remain anonymous occasionally,
you can set Anonymous to 'Yes'
on, for example, line 2, and
then call from that line when
you want to remain anonymous.
– choose whether the
Call Waiting service should be
connected. With Call Waiting
connected, you can receive a
new call during a call.
You can also:
– select a fixed volume.
– disconnect Extended Redial.
– disconnect the indicator lights'
flashing.
NOTE! Contact your phone company for more
information on the availability of and
subscriptions to Anonymous, Call Waiting and
the allocation of extra numbers to the same
ISDN connection (MSN numbers). See also
page 34 and the enclosed supplement
'BeoCom 3 and ISDN services'.
