Meaning/Solutions
c An abnormal condition in the film scanner caused a coded error message (XX YY ZZ) to
appear.
Switch the unit and film scanner off, then switch them on again.
c An internal communication error occurred inside the unit.
Touch the [Retry] button to continue the scanning job. If the same message appears again,
touch the [Cancel] button to cancel the operation, then shut down the system and switch
the main unit off and on.
c The temperature inside the film scanner is abnormally high.
Wait a few minutes, then touch the [Retry] button to continue the scanning job.
c The cover of the IX240 carrier may be open.
Close the cover of the IX240 carrier.
c The IX240 cartridge is still set in the film scanner.
Remove the IX240 cartridge.

Touch the [Retry] button then remove the IX240 film.
c Undeveloped IX240 film is loaded in the film scanner.

• SCSI cable connection secure.
• SCSI ID assigned to the film scanner is not in use by another device.
• SCSI terminator is set correctly.
Then touch the [Retry] button.
If the same message appears again, touch the [Cancel] button to cancell the operation, shut
down the system, then switch the main unit and film scanner off and on.
