Setting Media

Using a SmartMedia Card

With the terminals on the SmartMedia card facing
up, insert the card completely into the lower part of
the slot.

When you see a message that prompts you to
remove the SmartMedia card, pull the SmartMedia
card straight out.
Note
To prevent losing valuable data or damaging the
SmartMedia card, never remove the SmartMedia
card from the slot until the message prompts you to
remove it.

Using PC Cards

With its label facing up, insert the PC card
completely into its slot.

Push the PC card in completely. If the PC card is
not inserted completely, you may not be able to
read image data stored on the card.
When the message prompts you to remove the PC
card, push in the eject button 1 , and then pull the
PC card straight out 2 .
Note
To prevent losing valuable data or damaging the
PC card, never remove the PC card from the slot
until the message prompts you to remove it.

Using a Floppy Disk

Insert the floppy disk completely into the floppy
disk drive.
