5.12 Closing the device

f Fold the enclosure cover upwards.
f Press the enclosure cover until it clicks audibly into
place.

5.13 Switching on the device

DANGER
Electric shock hazard in case of damaged devices
Using a damaged device may result in electric shock.
f Do not use the device if it is damaged.
f Mark the damaged device to ensure that it is not used
by others.
f Eliminate damage immediately.
f If necessary take the device out of service.
Precondition:
„ Residual current and miniature circuit breakers are
installed on site and suitably dimensioned.
„ Device is correctly installed and connected.
„ The device is in a proper condition.
f Switching on the power supply

6. Operation

6.1

Charging the vehicle

WARNING
Risk of injury from using unsuitable aids
Use of adaptor plugs, extensions, or additional charging
cables in connection with the device can result in electric
shock or cable fire.
f Use only the charging cable intended for the vehicle
and the device.
f Do not use adaptor plugs, extensions, or additional
charging cables to charge the vehicle.
Prior authorisation is not necessary.
f Fully unroll the charging cable from the cable holder.
f Connect the charging cable to the vehicle.

All requirements for proper charging are verified.
The charging process starts automatically.

Terminating the charging process

ATTENTION
Damage to the charging cable
Tensile stress on the charging cable may cause cable
breaks and other damage.
f Only pull the charging cable directly from the socket
outlet.
f End the charging process on the vehicle.
f Pull the charging cable out of the charging socket on
the plug.
f Fit on the protective cap.
f Hang or store the charging cable kink-free.
For a type 1 charging connector, press the release
button to unplug.
