2.4.4 Observing ambient conditions
If the permissible ambient conditions are not adhered to,
the functionality and operational safety of the device is
affected. This can cause accidents and severe injuries to
people.
Observe the following environmental conditions:
f Avoid direct sunlight.
f Keep the ambient temperature from -25 to +40 °C.
f Avoid penetration of water.
f Avoid strong temperature fluctuations.
f Ensure adequate ventilation of the unit and avoid
heat accumulation.
f Keep the device away from heat sources.
f Keep the device away from explosive or highly flam-
mable substances.
2.4.5 Proper use of charging cable
Improper handling of the charging cable can cause haz-
ards such as electric shock, short circuit or fire.
f Do not touch the contact pins.
f Do not use adaptor connectors or extension cables.
f Avoid kinks, sharp edges, loads and impacts.
f Avoid accumulation / knotting of the charging cable.
f Fully unroll the charging cable from the cable holder
when charging.
f Remove the charging cable only by pulling the plug
from the charging socket.
f Keep small animals away from the charging cable.
Use protective flap.
f Do not expose the charging cable to tensile stress.
2.4.6 Keeping order
A charging cable lying around presents a stumbling haz-
ard.
Objects on the device may fall.
f Minimize stumbling hazard.
f After charging, hang the charging cable properly.
f Do not store any objects on the device.
