Disassembly Procedures

Fluorescent Light Socket

1. Follow fluorescent light bulb removal procedure, Steps
1 and 2.
2. Remove screws securing light socket to mounting
bracket.
3. Cut the existing wires off as close as possible to the
old fluorescent light socket. Remove about 1/4" of
insulation from wire ends and crimp on new wire
terminals.
4. Insert wire terminals (with wire) into new socket.

Fluorescent Light Starter/Starter Base

1. Follow fluorescent light bulb removal procedure, Steps
1 and 2.
2. Depress and turn starter to remove starter from base.
3. Disconnect wires to starter base. Remove screws
securing base to backguard.

Ballast

NOTE: Requires removal of oven from cabinet.
1. Turn power off to oven.
2. Remove rear lower access panel from oven.
3. Disconnect and label wire terminals.
4. Remove screws securing ballast to rear insulation
cover.
5. Reverse procedure to reinstall ballast.

Oven High Limit/Thermal Fan Switch

NOTE: Requires removal of oven from cabinet.
1. Turn off power to oven.
2. Remove lower rear access panel.
3. Disconnect and label wire terminals connected to
limit switch.
4. Remove screws securing high limit switch.
5. Reverse procedure to reinstall switches.

Oven Sensor

1. Remove screws securing sensor to top right rear
corner of oven wall.
2. Pull sensor forward enough to disconnect the two wire
plug connector.
3. Reverse procedure to reinstall sensor.

DISCONNECT POWER TO THE OVEN BEFORE SERVICING.

Bake Element

1. Turn off power to oven.
2. Remove screws securing bake element to rear of oven
wall.
3. Pull element forward far enough to allow
disconnection of terminals on each element leg.
4. Reverse procedure to reinstall bake element.

Broil Element

1. Turn off power to oven.
2. Remove screws securing broil element to rear of oven
wall.
3. Remove screws securing broil element brackets to
broil element shield.
4. Pull broil element forward enough to allow
disconnection of terminals on each element leg.
5. Reverse procedure to reinstall broil element.

Convection Heating Element

1. Turn off power to oven.
2. Remove screws securing fan shield to rear of oven
wall.
3. Remove screws securing convection heating element
to rear wall of oven.
4. Pull element forward to expose wire connections for
disconnection.
5. Reverse procedure to reinstall convection heating
element.

Convection Fan Blade

1. Remove screws securing fan shield to rear of oven
wall.
2. Using a flat screwdriver or adjustable wrench, and
turning clockwise, remove the nut in center of
convection fan blade. (Nut is Left Hand Thread).
3. Remove fan blade from D stem motor shaft.
NOTE: Behind fan blade is a washer and C clip on motor
shaft which must be in position for correct
reassembly. (To prevent Fan Blade hitting cavity).
