7. LUBRICATION INSTRUCTION

7.1. Gear trough (gearbox)

The oil level should be checked regularly through the venting opening on the gear trough. The
oil level should be 0.59 – 0.79" above the bottom of the trough, when the frame is level. Oil
capacities in the gear box are as follows:
Z 010 2.5 L,
–
Z 010/1 3.5 L,
–
Z 010/2 4.5 L.
–
If the oil level is low, please check and eliminate any leaks and fill up to the oil level required.
7.2. Mower s gearbox and conditioner

The oil level should be checked regularly through the venting opening on the gear box.
The oil level should be 0.59 – 1.18" above the bottom. Oil capacity in the gear boxes for mower Z
010/4 4.5 L.

The oil capacity in conditioner's gear should be ~ 0.3 L. Intersecting axis gear of conditioner
drive should be filled with gear oil through filler, located in the gear's cover.

7.3. Risks present when lubricating

If risk of splashing is present, make sure to wear protective eyewear with side guards.
When lubricating protect eyes and skin against contact with the substance. Therefore use
adequate protective wear with long sleeves and protective footwear. Also use protective
gloves. In case of a contact with skin, immediately wash the infected area with plenty of
soap water.
Do not allow the product to contaminate water outlets, water courses and soils.
In case of an unintentional release to the environment plug the leak, limit the spillage, and
then collect the oil with non-flammable absorbent material (e.g. sand).
The product is flammable. In case of fire, use adequate fire-extinguishing means (e.g. foam,
water mist, extinguishing powders). Do not use water jets.
Used product should be disposed of in accordance with relevant regulations. If disposed of
improperly, the used oil poses danger to the environment.
