Eccentric screws

right angles, secure the base plate of the saw to
prevent any lateral movement . Lateral movement
can cause the saw blade to jam, thus causing
a kickback .
♦ Adjust the desired cutting depth as described
above .
♦ Place the appliance on the workpiece .
♦ Avoid kickback and place the rear edge
against a stop (as referenced in the section
"Plunge cutting with guide rail") .
♦ Switch on the appliance as described in
"Switching on and off" .
