Notes on Use

Location
Anti-slip and flat surfaces are suitable locations.
Supply Cord
Completely unwind the power cord from the bottom of the
device. Insert the cable into the cable duct so that the device
cannot tilt over.
Electrical Connection
1. Ensure that the mains power corresponds to the one of
the appliance. Please refer to the specifications on the
type label.
2. Connect the supply cord to a properly installed grounding
receptacle.

Operation

To make a bag from bulky wrap foil
Sealing wrap foil is also available as bulk stock.
NOTE:
In order for the air to be vacuumed well, the wrap foil must
contain a special texture! This may be a ribbed, honeycomb
or diamond texture.
In order to make a bag from the bulk stock, proceed as
follows.
1. Measure the desired length of the wrap foil.
2. Detach the wrap foil with a straight cut.
3. Insert the foil into the vacuum chamber up to the stop.
Push both levers down simultaneously and firmly until
you hear a click sound.
4. Press the SEAL button. The button lights up. After approx.
7 seconds the button goes out and the seam is sealed.
5. Press both release buttons under the levers simultane-
ously to take out the bag.
WARNING:
• Disconnect from mains power supply before cleaning. Wait until
the appliance has cooled down completely.
• Do not submerge the appliance into water. This may lead to elec-
tric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for

cleaning.

• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.

To Vacuum and Seal a Bag
You may now package items in the previously made bag.
NOTE:
• Please also refer to the "Notes on Storing Food" and
chapter "Function of controls".
• Bags with liquids are only to be sealed! Liquid could be
sucked in. Only use SEAL function.
1. Place the items in the bag.
2. Insert the open end of the bag into the vacuum chamber
up to the stop.
3. Avoid creasing! Smooth the foil.
4. Push both levers down simultaneously and firmly until
you hear a click sound.
5. Use the MODE and / or FOOD buttons to select a function
as desired.
6. Press the VAC SEAL button. When the button goes out,
the process is finished.
NOTE:
• Press STOP button to cancel an operation.
• If you want to cancel the pumping process ahead of
time in order to seal immediately, press the SEAL
button.
7. Press both release buttons under the levers simultane-
ously to take out the bag.
8. There is a drawer on the back of the device in which the
liquid from the vacuum chamber is collected. Empty the
collection tray if fluids were collected during the process.
Finish Operation
• Remove the plug from the receptacle.
• Allow the appliance to cool down for 5 minutes prior to
storage.
Cleaning
• The enclosure may be wiped from inside and out-side
using a slightly damp cloth.
• Clean the collection tray in soapy water if necessary.
