    MARTIN ® ™ #1 primary cleaner must be done on both sides of the chute wall. In the process, those positions are determined where the mainframe of the MARTIN ® XHD QC ™ #1 primary cleaner pass- es through the chute wall or where the tensioner is installed on the chute wall.

    Should this not be possible for structural reasons, the primary cleaner can, in consultation with Martin Engineering, also be installed at an angle of 20° above or below, but the installation radius must be adhered to in every case.

    Only tension the conveyor belt scraper according to the guidelines and with dual spring tensioners, ensure even tension. Observe the instructions on installing the tensioner in the respective installation manual of the tensioner being used. © Martin Engineering GmbH M3504UK-10/15...

    Before any installation or maintenance work is carried out, ensure that all power sources to the conveyor belt system and its accessories are switched off and secured against inadvertent reactivation.   • Page 26 NOTE If there are any signs of a malfunction, turn off the relevant parts of the conveyor belt. To receive support, contact Martin Engineering or a representative. DO NOT operate the conveyor belt system until the reason for the problem is known and a solution is found.
