2.9 - REGISTRAZIONE
Per registrare la lunghezza (4)
delle aste avancorsa (1), asta
2
superiore di sterzo (3) ed asta
inferiore di sterzo (2) procedere
nel modo seguente:
Smontare l'asta interessata.
Allentare il dado (5) che blocca
l'uniball (6) all'asta (7).
Rilevare la misura dell'asta
prendendo come punto di rife-
rimento il centro di entrambi gli
uniball (8).
Avvitando l'uniball la lunghezza
dell'asta si diminuirà, svitando
l'uniball la lunghezza dell'asta si
aumenterà.
Portare l'asta alla misura desi-
derata regolando entrambi gli
uniball e serrare i dadi (5).
Attenersi alle misure fornite da
Bimota per ottenere la configu-
razione standard:
-Aste avancorsa (1):
474 mm
-Asta superiore di sterzo (3):
319 mm
-Asta inferiore di sterzo (2):
470 mm ± 0,2 mm
Rimontare l'asta serrando le viti
che la vincolano alla moto alla
coppia di 22 Nm e applicare
Loctite 243.

FRONTRIDE RODS
ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the length (4) of the
front ride rods (1), the upper
steering rod (3) and lower
steering rod (2) proceed as
follow:
Disassemble the interested rod.
Loosen the nut (5) which locks
the uniball (6) to the rod (7).
Notice the size of the rod
referring to the centre of both
the uniballs (8).
Screwing the uniball the rod
length increases while
unscrewing the length
decreases.
Bring the rod to the size
required adjusting both the
uniballs then lock the nuts (5).
Follow the Bimota sizes to
obtain the standard
configuration.
•Front ride rods (1): 474 mm
•Upper steering rod (3):
319 mm
•Lower steering rod (2):
470 mm ± 0,2 mm
Reassemble the rod fastening
the screws which connect it to
the motorcycle to 22 Nm torque
and add locktite 243.
