2.8 - REGISTRAZIONE
Riscontrando eccessiva libertà di
movimento dei semimanubri è
necessario procedere alla rego-
lazione nel modo seguente:
Svitare e sfilare la vite (1) che
blocca la testa di sterzo.
Allentare le viti (2) del morsetto
di tenuta cannotto sulla testa di
2
sterzo.
Serrare con una chiave dina-
mometrica alla coppia di 30
Nm la ghiera (3) di registrazione
cannotto.
Per l'intervento è necessaria la
chiave speciale Bimota (4)
(cod. 506297100)
Rimontare la testa di sterzo,
serrare le viti (2) alla coppia di 11
Nm e la vite (1) a 30 Nm appli-
cando grasso sotto la testa.
NB:
Gli attrezzi speciali acquistabili
da Bimota, potrebbero essere
differenti da quelli visibili in foto.

2.8 - ADJUSTING
STEERING
BEARINGS PLAY
Excessive handlebar play indica-
te that the steering bearings play
requires adjustment.
Proceed as follow:
Unscrew and remove the stee-
ring head locking screw (1).
Loosen the screws up (2) on the
clamp which holds the steering
head.
Tighten with a dynamometric tool
the ring nut (3) of the steering
column to a 30 Nm torque.
Use the necessarily special
Bimota tool (4) (cod ref.
506297100).
Reassemble the steering head
then tighten the screws (2) to
11 Nm torque and the screw (1)
to 30 Nm applying grease under
the head.
