Start-up

Turning the power on

Video monitor
(see page 27)

Connect the power cord to the -
(power) connector on the CCU rear
panel.
Make sure the power cord is not plugged into
an outlet when connecting it to the CCU.

Press the 1 (on/standby) switch.
The indicator will turn green and camera
picture output will appear on the video
monitor.
Note
When you start the unit after replacing the camera
head, startup may take longer than usual.

Entering standby mode

Press the 1 (on/standby) switch again.
The unit enters standby mode, and the indicator
turns orange.
Note
If you disconnect the power cord without setting
the unit to standby mode, setting information may
be lost.
