Preparing Installation Location
Figure shows W204 with daytime running
light.
Loosen original vehicle bolt at position 2 , 3
and 5 . Insert large diameter washer at posi-
tion 5 between bracket 4 and bumper. Tighten
bolts at position 3 and 5 .
Bend twist protection at position 1 toward
rear. Twist cylinder of the headlight washer
system and fix with cable tie (observe dis-
tance between connector of front fog light, if
available, and bracket of heater).
Remove joint sealer in the area of the holes 1
or 2 on the inner side of the frame side mem-
ber.

Mount heating bracket 3 with oblong hole be-
tween detached bracket 2 and bumper at po-
sition 1 .
