5 Safety
5.1 Intended use
The MyReserve Backup Power must be used
exclusively in combination with a MyReserve
storage system and a Fronius Symo Hybrid. Be
sure to observe all technical data in the data
sheet. Every diff erent kind or improper use of

• Do not use more than one SwitchBox per in-
stallation
• Do not connect more than one Fronius Symo

Safety instructions

Danger to life due to electric shock!
The live components are subject to life-threatening voltages. The SwitchBox must be
only connected to the house distribution system when it's de-energised. Here the 5
safety rules must be observed.
Damage or destruction of the SwitchBox due to improper use!
By applying mains voltage to the CAN bus terminals or an operation outside of the
specifi ed technical data (see Chapter 13) the SwitchBox may be damaged or destro-
yed.
