10.Final Drive

Rear Final Drive Gear

SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.
Removal
Remove these components
Rear wheels
Rear knuckles and suspension arms
Drive shafts
Drain the rear gear oil
Remove the rear brake calipers
Hold the rear final gear case mounting bolts and loosen the nuts. Remove the two mounting
nuts and bolts.
Free the rear propeller shaft from the final drive unit.

Drive Shafts
Final Drive Oil
Rear Brake Calipers
