Backspace – When in a text entry field, such as the Change Name setting, use the Bksp
button to erase the previous digit.
Back – Returns to the Non ROUTE mode main screen without collecting data or saving
changes to your user defined measurement settings.
On the User mode screen, set your desired measurement parameters and press an
Enter button. Data collection immediately initiates for your user defined POINT.

User Defined Measurement Options

Navigate and select your user defined measurement parameters using the same setup
screen navigation procedures described earlier.
To specify your measurement's parameters:
Use the up/down arrows to scroll through the fields and their current settings.
Press the right arrow button to view options for fields you wish to alter.
If several options are available, a drop-down list appears. Use the up/down arrows
to scroll through the drop-down list, and press Enter to select the highlighted
option.
When finished setting all your measurement parameters, press an Enter button to
initiate data collection.
User Defined Measurement Options
Change Name – Enables you to enter an identifying name for the new measurement
POINT, for reference in the Microlog's Review mode and when uploaded to your
@ptitude Analyst host software.
You may specify the Machine name, POINT name, and Description.
Select the item you wish to name and press an Enter button. A text entry dialog
displays at the bottom of the screen. The title of the dialog indicates the name of
the element you are configuring (Machine, Point, or Description).
Press the alphanumeric key the appropriate number of times to display each letter.
For example, to type a B, press the 2 key three times. (One press displays 2, two
presses display A, and three presses display B.)
Repeat for each element you wish to name.
Display Format – Determines how to display the measurement's data. Options are:

 Press the zero key twice to type a "space."
 Use quick key presses for the most effective typing.
