The Master Control lever moves the
switch shaft to select the required
function.
The following positions can be
selected with the Master Control
lever:
"STOP" (1) closes short circuit
contact, interrupts ignition
"RUN" (2) is the normal operating
position
"START" (3) opens the throttle
shutter slightly. The choke shutter is
fully open (warm start)
"CHOKE" (4) opens the throttle
shutter slightly. The choke shutter is
closed (cold start)

Switch Shaft
Removing
– Remove the air filter – b 12.1
– Remove the carburetor –
b 12.2.1
– Set Master Control lever to
"CHOKE".
: Pull the short circuit wire (1)
sideways out of the switch shaft
(2).

: Take out the screw (1).
– Remove the handle molding (2).

: Disconnect the throttle rod (1)
from the trigger (2).
– Put the throttle rod to one side.
: Carefully swing the left end of the
switch shaft (1) upwards and pull
it out of the retainer (2).
– Pull the retainer out of its guide.
