COMPATIBILITY
WITH EXISTING SOFTWARE
With its ability to print eleven different
graphics
densities,
this printer's graphics abilities are advanced indeed. There are
many programs,
in fact, that are unable to use this printer's
single graphics command
(ESC) "*" for selecting
the proper
density. To maintain compatibility
with this software, there are
individual commands
to select each of this printer's
common
graphics densities. These commands,
which are shown in Table
7-4, can be used interchangeably
with the corresponding
(ESC)
"*" command.
