SAFETY INFORMATION

Do not store flammable liquids on or near this water heater,
keep flammable materials such as towels and curtains 1
metre away from this heater.
Do not leave the heater operating when the kitchen area is
unattended.
Do not cover the flue outlet.
* Covering the outlet may cause unsafe combustion or fire.
* This may cause the unsafe combustion prevention device
to operate.
The room must be correctly ventilated (air supply and
exhaust) when this heater is in use.
Do not use the heater for over 10 mins continuously. Where
there is no ventilation, CO may be produced. Lack of
ventilation may cause the unsafe combustion prevention
device to put the flame out. Turn the appliance off.
Do not use this water heater in a bathroom.
Be particularly careful to provide sufficient ventilaton.
An open kerosene heater may cause the unsafe
combustion prevention device to turn the heater off. Natural
air (oxygen) is necessary for safe combustion.
If you suspect that there is a gas leak, turn off the gas at the
main cock, ventilate the room and call your local gas
supplier.
Do not search for leaks with matches or naked flames.
Do not operate electrical equipment if there is a sme ll of
gas.
This heater is not designed to be used as a multipoint
(controlled from remote water taps).
Use only with the outlet tube supplied by Rinnai.
ACCESSORIES: Do not use this water heater with any
accessories, other than those supplied
by Rinnai.
