INSTALLATION

This water heater must be installed by an authorised
person according to regulations of the local supply
authority.
1.
Do not install in an area where strong chemicals such
as chlorine are stored. Strong chemicals can cause
damage to the heater exchanger causing the unsafe
combustion prevention device to fail.
2.
Do not install directly above cooking appliances.
3.
Do not install in unusually draughty position.
This heater is NOT designed for outdoor installation.
4.
The installation must comply with all local regulations.
The ventilation in the room where the heater is to be
installed must comply with local regulations.
5.
The heater is best installed at eye level, provided the
required clearances can be maintained.
Clearances shown must be maintained at all times.
6.
The wall must be strong enough to support the heater
(10kg).
7.
Water pressure must be between 0.8kg/cm² and
5.0kg/cm²/78-490kPa.
8.
Connections (Gas and Water) are R1/2" (15mm)
9.
Pipe sizing and materials of gas must be correct.
Check a pipe sizing chart if in doubt.
10. Ensure appliance is suitable for the available gas
supply.
Ensure all connections are tightened with a spanner.

Spacing wood screw
Standard wood screws
Washers
Batteries
Customer Operating Instructions
Decide on installation position, fit the spacing wood screw
with washer as shown.
Hang the heater on the screw, then secure at the base with
the other two wood screws.
