CAUTION
• This product may not be compatible with all iPod/
iPhone. We assume no responsibility for any loss of
data on iPod/iPhone while using this product. Please
back up your iPod/iPhone data regularly.
• Install the iPod/iPhone in the place where it will not
affect safe driving.
• Do not leave the iPod/iPhone in direct sunlight for
extended amounts of time. Extended exposure to
direct sunlight can result in iPod/iPhone malfunction
due to the resulting high temperature.
• Do not leave the iPod/iPhone in any location with
high temperatures.
• Firmly secure the iPod/iPhone when driving. Do not
let the iPod fall onto the floor, where it may become
jammed under the brake or accelerator pedal.
• Do not place the iPod/iPhone and the connecting
cables in the car to avoid damage by heat.

Connecting an iPod/iPhone
USB input terminal
Lightning to USB cable
(sold separately)
Connect an iPod/iPhone to the USB input terminal using
a Lightning to USB cable.
• The source changes to "iPod USB" and playback starts
automatically.
• " " indicator lights up on the display window when
iPod/iPhone is connected.
• File number and play time appear on the display
window for a few seconds when an iPod/iPhone is
connected. Then, other information appear. See [DISPLAY
MODE] on page 18 for more information.
• If an iPod/iPhone has already been connected, touch
MODE repeatedly (or press MODE repeatedly on the
remote control) to select "iPod USB" as the playback
source.
Pause playback
Touch (or press
pause the playback.
Play time will be displayed and blinking during pause.
Select control mode
Touch repeatedly to select the control mode.
MODE ON:
Control iPod/iPhone using the iPod/iPhone itself.
However, you can still play/pause, file skip, fast-forward
or reverse from this unit.
MODE OFF:
Control iPod/iPhone from this unit.
File up/down
Touch T (or press T on the remote control) to go to
the next file.
Touch S (or press S on the remote control) to go to
the previous file.
