Trigger
The Trigger parameter defines the control source that triggers the attack segment of each
ASR. When a switch control source is selected, the ASR is triggered when the control value
changes from off to on. When a continuous control source is selected, the ASR is triggered
when the control value changes from below its middle point to above its middle point.
When the Trigger parameter is set to ON, a local ASR will be triggered for each note played
in the layer, and a global ASR will be triggered immediately when you select a program is
selected.
Mode
The Mode parameter determines what the ASR does after playing the attack section.
When the Mode parameter is set to Normal, the ASR will play the attack section, then will
immediately play the release section. The sustain section of the ASR will not be played.
When the Mode parameter is set to Repeat, the ASR will play the attack section, then will
immediately play the release section, then will loop repeatedly through the attack and release
sections until the ASR's trigger switches off. The sustain section of the ASR will not be
played.
When the Mode parameter is set to Hold, the ASR will play the attack section, then will
sustain at the highest value until the ASR's trigger switches off. The ASR then plays its release
section. If the ASR's trigger switches off before the attack section is complete, the ASR
immediately plays its release section.
Delay
The Delay parameter can be used to set a delay time in order to add a delay before playing
the attack section. When the ASR's trigger switches on, the ASR will wait the set amount of
time before playing the attack section.
Attack
The Attack parameter sets how long the ASR attack section takes to ramp up from minimum
to maximum value.
Release
The Release parameter sets how long the ASR release section takes to ramp down from its
current value to its minimum value.
