To turn off the ring or the warning sound permanently:
• Press for one second.

The ring off icon appears.
If a warning sounds and you press

You can also turn off the ringer permanently by adjusting the ring volume to
its lowest level. See "Ring volume" on page 56.
To turn the ring or the warning sound on again:
• Press for one second.

The ring off icon disappears.

PAGING A HANDSET FROM THE BASE STATION

The base station has a search function with which you can page the handsets
connected to it.
Press the button on the base station, and the handset rings.

Page Call
ton on the base station once, to stop the ringing.
You can also use the base station as an intercom. For more details, please refer
to "Intercom" on page 83.
