RS -232 (Serial Port
Location
The serial RS-232 port is located directly in the casing to the top left of the MOBIC
(see Figure 4-2).

The RS-232 port complies with class of protection IP65
Connections
You can connect a cable with a 9-pin sub-D female connector to this port.
Possible Applications
Via the RS-232 port, you can, for example, establish a connection to your host
computer using the Microsoft ActiveSync program or to another peripheral device
with an RS-232 port.
